Almost everyone interested in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and frown lines is a candidate for Botox, Dysport and other toxins. Exceptions include anyone who is not healthy enough for the injection or who has allergies or sensitivities to the botulinum toxin. Individuals should be 18 or older to get injections, but some teenagers may be approved for the procedure. We’ll discuss all of this during your consultation.
Our clients say they experience mild discomfort — like a small pinch — during the injection, but it passes quickly. Your skin specialist may apply a numbing cream or apply ice packs.
Both treatments are considered safe and are FDA-approved. Side effects are rare. However, some patients experience temporary bruising. Headache, nausea and flu-like symptoms are also possible but are much less common. Your specialist will make sure you have a clear understanding of the process, the potential risks and expected outcomes.

Botox and Dysport treatments can last up to four months.
It varies, but injections are typically needed every three to four months to maintain results. We take each client’s goals and body chemistry into consideration.

What To Expect:
During your treatment, your specialist will inject small amounts of toxin into specific areas of your face. The injections may cause a slight stinging or burning sensation, but this should be temporary. The process takes about 15-20 minutes.
You may experience some temporary swelling or redness at the injection sites, but this should subside within a few hours.
