Have Questions?
We’ve got answers to the questions we hear most frequently about this treatment.
Anyone with dull, textured or damaged skin can benefit from this treatment. Peels are a good starting point for someone who hasn’t tried any aesthetic procedures before and those who want to take a gentle approach to skin rejuvenation. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid chemical peels.
Not long! A basic peel takes only 20 to 30 minutes to perform. Other options may take longer.
Your skin should look noticeably brighter, softer and smoother right after the procedure. The full effects typically take about a week. We recommend getting a series of peels or combining them with other treatments, such as our BBL options, for best results.
The number of treatments will depend on your skin type, the state of your skin and the type of chemical peel used. Your treatment provider will use your personalized skin analysis to help answer this question.
A VI peel is an advanced chemical peel from the Vitality Institute that combines retinoic acid, vitamin C and a blend of other agents to reduce signs of aging, correct skin discoloration and even out skin tone. It penetrates deep beneath the surface layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, which helps restore elasticity.
A body peel targets areas that need extra attention or treatment, such as scarring or discoloration. This peel typically affects multiple layers of skin.

What To Expect:
First, your provider will thoroughly clean your skin before applying a chemical solution. Your provider will leave that solution on your skin for several minutes before neutralizing it and washing it off. You may feel a tingling or warming sensation.
After the session, your skin may appear red or flaky for a few days, but soon you’ll see a brighter and firmer complexion emerge.
