Almost anyone who is dehydrated can benefit. However, this treatment is not recommended for people with kidney disease, heart disease or those taking certain medications. Check in with your primary care doctor before trying this treatment and remember that vitamin therapy and hydration therapy are not a replacement for eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of fluids.
Most patients feel more hydrated immediately and continue to feel better over the next few hours.
Risks are mitigated by our team of experts, but IV therapy can cause infection, bruising or bleeding where the needle is inserted. In rare cases, blood clots are possible.
Plan for an hour-long appointment. The actual treatment will take between 30 to 60 minutes, which can take place in tandem with most other treatments.

What To Expect:
A medical provider will insert a small needle to create access for your IV. This may cause an initial pinch.
After the needle is held in place with tape, the IV drip will begin. As fluid begins to flow from the bag to your arm, you will feel a cool sensation and possibly a slight heaviness in your arm.
