Dennis Kelly has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry developing and leading innovative healthcare service and patient financing organizations. His work has resulted in better clinical outcomes, higher patient and provider satisfaction, improved case acceptance and the creation of an efficient model of care.
Dennis and his partner, Gerry Benjamin co-founded Shine Medical Aesthetics in early 2024. In 2022 Dennis retired from GreenSky Patient Solutions, a Goldman Sachs Company. From 2015-2022, Dennis was the President of GreenSky Patient Solutions, LLC and helped successfully execute the expansion of the GreenSky consumer financing program to serve the elective and dental healthcare industry. Prior to joining GreenSky, Dennis was the CEO of CarePoint Health, a privately held integrated health system that owned and operated 3 hospitals and two integrated physician practices with over 1,500 physicians in Hudson County, NJ. Prior to joining CarePoint Health in 2012, Dennis was a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of NewHope Bariatrics where, in partnership with highly regarded surgeons, he developed and operated surgical facilities focused on the needs of the morbidly obese. Before founding NewHope Bariatrics, Dennis was the Chief Operating Officer for MedCath Corporation, a healthcare provider renowned for its innovative care model focused on treating cardiovascular disease. Prior to that, Dennis spent 15 years at Siemens Medical Systems as Vice President of Government & National Accounts, where he was responsible for developing and implementing strategies within the Government and National Accounts market segment. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College and his RT.R from the University of Utah Medical Center.
Dennis is also the father of 3 and grandfather of 12. He’s lived all over the United States and is an explorer by nature. In his limited free time he loves spending time with his family and being outdoors either cycling, skiing, or anywhere near the water.
Lauren Wages Edeker, PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, Advanced Aesthetic Injector, and Clinical Director of Aesthetics at SHINE Medical Aesthetics. With nearly a decade of experience in plastic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic enhancements, Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and artistry to her practice.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Georgia and her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Lauren is passionate about the art of facial harmonization through injectables, with a focus on enhancing each patient’s natural beauty. Recognized as one of Atlanta’s top injectors, she combines advanced training and clinical expertise to help patients achieve their individual aesthetic goals.
As a National Trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute, Lauren shares her deep understanding of facial anatomy, advanced techniques, and patient safety with other medical professionals across the country.
Her approach is centered on helping patients look and feel like the best version of themselves. She collaborates closely with each individual to develop customized treatment plans, delivering beautiful, natural-looking results through medical-grade skincare and a variety of non-invasive and minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques.
A proud Georgia native, Lauren enjoys expressing her creativity outside of work through gardening and crocheting. She is also an avid hiker and mountain biker, and cherishes time spent with her husband, son, and their rescue dogs, Calvin and Louise.
Hannah Mayuski is SHINE’s Marketing and Business Development Specialist, bringing a wealth of experience in both the aesthetics and marketing industries. With a keen eye for brand storytelling, Hannah excels in crafting compelling narratives through content creation, strategic filming, and dynamic editing.
Her journey in the aesthetics industry sparked a passion for creatively highlighting the transformative impact of cosmetic treatments. She finds purpose in helping practices showcase how they empower patients to feel confident, radiant, and renewed. For Hannah, marketing is more than strategy—it’s a bridge between personal transformation and professional storytelling, seamlessly aligning with the ever-evolving landscape of beauty and wellness.
At SHINE, Hannah leads social media, marketing campaigns, and community engagement efforts. Her work includes developing partnerships, hosting events, and driving outreach initiatives that reflect SHINE’s mission of promoting wellness, longevity, and aesthetic excellence.
Outside of SHINE, Hannah enjoys quality time with her husband, Michael, and their puppy, Teddy. She loves reading, trying new recipes, cooking alongside her husband, and staying active with workouts and outdoor adventures.
Bex Mitchell is SHINE’s practice administrator. She has worked in the aesthetics industry for almost a decade, and she has a background in operations and entrepreneurship. She graduated from Georgia State University with a major in philosophy and a minor in French.
In her administrative role, she enjoys getting to know patients and helping them achieve their goals around skin health, aesthetics and longevity. She never tires of patient transformations!
She’s also an enthusiastic aesthetic patient herself. Her personal favorites are Halo laser treatments and bioidentical Hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) because they are “absolute gamechangers” in how they make you look and feel.
Outside of work she pursues two primary philanthropic goals: helping victims of human trafficking and rescuing/fostering dogs.
She enjoys spending time with her adult kids, friends, and she loves to travel. And she admits that she’s slightly obsessed with food and wine!
Stephanie Dorsey is the clinic operations manager. She started her career in early childhood education before switching to the wellness industry in 2018. She became a medical assistant to gain hands-on experience before transitioning to front desk coordinator and later operations manager. This progression allowed her to develop an understanding of patient care and the operational side of the business.
She specializes in supporting patients seeking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and weight loss, working closely with a nurse practitioner.
She’s proud of her ability foster a positive, collaborative environment within the clinic. She loves balancing multiple roles, ensuring that clients and the team feel supported.
Outside of work, she likes to explore new places, dive into a good book and spend quality time with her family. These activities help her recharge and stay inspired, allowing her to bring a fresh perspective to work.
Kimberly Yerby is a registered nurse who worked in plastic surgery for four years before becoming an aesthetic injector. She earned her nursing degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and later earned certifications for allergen master injections as well as botox and dermal filler treatments. She specializes in neurotoxins, dermal fillers and PRP injections.
She loves showing patients how technology and expertise can help them achieve rejuvenated but natural results.
Outside of work, she is an avid sports mom sho enjoys running and reading when she’s not shuffling her children around.
Anne Cease is a registered nurse who worked in the recovery room for almost two decades before becoming an aesthetic injector. She has earned certifications to provide chemical peels, laser treatments, dermal needling, radiofrequency modalities and to administer toxins and dermal fillers. She currently specializes in aesthetic injectables.
She discovered a passion for aesthetics when she began filler treatments, which gave her artistic satisfaction and an appreciation for patient gratitude that she had rarely experienced in other types of nursing.
Her interests outside of work include spending time with family, including her twin sons, and being involved with animal rescue and advocacy. She and her husband spent years training and showing Paso Fino horses, but now they spend time watching one of their sons pitch professionally.
Rachel Shah is a licensed esthetician and assistant cosmetic laser practitioner who has worked in the aesthetics field since 2019. She earned her certifications at the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics.
She specializes in antiaging and skin rejuvenation treatments, providing microneedling, chemical peels and laser services.
She became interested in aesthetics as a patient. She developed severe acne in high school, but an esthetician’s treatments not only improved her acne and her self-confidence, they also sparked an interest in the science of aesthetics.
She takes a data-driven, holistic approach to skin health. She develops long-term treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and maintain their results.
Outside of work, she often flies to Texas to be with her husband. She also spends time with her two dogs, likes going out to dinner, hearing live music and spending time with her family.
Emily Powers is SHINE’s patient care concierge. She started her career in aesthetics in 2004, after earning her cosmetology license at Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing, Michigan. She spent 11 years as the patient care coordinator for a top plastic surgeon, gaining extensive experience in patient care.
She specializes in helping patients feel confident and comfortable by keeping them motivated and offering support. She educates patients on the treatments and services offered at SHINE and conducts skin care analysis consultations.
She strives to actively listen, build trust and ensure open communication throughout the process.
Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new hiking trails with her husband, son and golden retriever. She also loves to cheer on her son at his baseball tournaments and enjoys watching him play.
Anna Carlisle is a board-certified nurse practitioner and SHINE’s clinical director of wellness who has worked in healthcare since 2012. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University.
She spent years working in the ICU, where she saw firsthand how many health issues were related to obesity. That inspired her to transition into obesity medicine so she could help individuals transform their health.
She has extensive experience in medically managed weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, helping thousands of patients achieve their goals. She helps patients set realistic, long-term health goals that reduce chronic disease risk, improve quality of life, and support mental and emotional well-being.
She lives in Alpharetta with her husband, three children, a Dachshund and two cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, hiking and exploring all Atlanta has to offer.
